Sometimes it's really hard for us to ask for help-especially when you're a strong, independent woman. Therapy is a great way to reach out, learn more about yourself, and grow through any challenges you might be facing. I help women who want to change their relationship with food and their bodies. I work with women in individual, group, & virtual therapy. I have a holistic approach that covers a wide range of symptoms & issues, but I enjoy helping clients who have struggled with their weight make peace with food. I love working with college women who are graduating & seeking support for the transition, and specialize in those women experiencing a "quarter life crisis". I also have a lot of experience helping women with recovering from sexual trauma. I love working with women who may have experienced an unplanned pregnancy or abortion as well, and offer an non-judgemental, pro-choice arena to explore emotions. Starting therapy can seem scary, but its brave to get some help! Make the decision to feel better today. I am an Out of Network insurance provider-contact your insurance to see if you qualify for these benefits. Flexible spending and HSA accepted as payment. When painful things happen in our lives, we do our best to cope with it in the moment. That might mean we get really good at “just dealing with it,” and “toughing it out.” Maybe we get really good at “checking out,” or maybe we become super skilled at coming up with clever ways to altogether avoid triggering situations. At one point in time, these skills served you well. And maybe they don’t any longer. Often, underneath these patterns anxiety and depression flood every day, drowning out our resources and making life difficult to enjoy. But changing these patterns and finding new hope can seem like an impossible feat. So often we know something is off because of what we feel in our bodies. Your heart starts pounding, that turning in your stomach, breathing feels tight, maybe you feel disconnected. The key to finding relief is not just about thinking differently. I am a Registered Dance/Movement Therapist and offer body-based techniques for approaching these issues. When we can tune into our bodies as well as our thoughts, we can begin to take control of our lives. I believe that you ultimately know what’s best for your own life. Sometimes it can feel scary to start therapy. What I usually tell my clients is “you’re in the driver’s seat.” I’m the copilot and have a map, and can point things out that maybe you didn’t see from your vantage point. Let’s figure this out together. Call or email for a free consultation.

About me: I have a strong belief in therapy because I've successfully used it. I've had my own personal exploration into suffering and I've made my way out of these fogs by utilizing the support of others. It is my experience that no one lives their best life alone. Connection has the capacity to offer regulation and engender strength. I honor my sense of humanity that allows me to tend and befriend others, and take joy in my sense of playfulness that can bring a smile or a laugh to someone at the just the right moment. About my work: I work through an integrated lens, currently drawing on EFT, neuroscience, mindfulness, and positive psychology to explore how lifestyle, relationships, and early experiences shape our wellbeing. I also use the power of storytelling to help reframe the limiting narratives we carry about ourselves. Lately, I've been doing meaningful work with clients navigating OCD tendencies, using approaches including ERP and ACT. I am also working to expand my expertise through continued education in somatic approaches, chronic illness and premenstrual disorders, to support the full complexity of what my clients carry. My goal is to create a space that feels safe, to help people trust themselves again, and to help them recommit to life — through the big things and the small. About my credentials: I graduated from Lesley University with a MA in Mental Health Counseling in 2018. I am a Massachusetts licensed mental health counselor with experience in a variety of outpatient therapeutic settings. I welcome your questions.
Hi! Welcome to the start of something great. Deciding to do therapy can initially be scary however, I look at therapy as just having a conversation and figuring some stuff out along the way. If you are feeling stressed about new things in life, experiencing new or intense emotions, or just needing someone to listen and build understanding then please feel free to reach out!
I specialize in working with those struggling with trauma, depression, anxiety and life transitions. I believe relationships matter, knowing that change can only happen when you feel supported and valued. Together, we will work to understand your needs in a judgment-free environment and identify the exact tools that can help you to manage life stressors. I use a a systems-based perspective in my practice, which considers the smaller pieces of our lives that add up to who we are as a person. Think of it like baking- all the ingredients (systems) come together to make the cake (the whole person). In our work together we will identify the specific systems that are impacting your well-being and how you can use you own power to adjust these systems as needed. I use DBT skills, CBT skills and mindfulness-based interventions to help us understand how to best support your systems. I am caring and compassionate, working alongside you to reach your best self. I know that every person is deserving of reaching their highest potential and find it an honor and a privilege to be a part of the process. I am currently providing Telemed therapy in Connecticut and Massachusetts. I look forward to being a part of your healing journey!

Hi, I'm Andi (pronouns: she/they). I am a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) in Washington and Massachusetts, and I have been practicing since 2010. Therapy with me is fluid, and involves a mixture of deep processing and more structured skill building. I specialize in supporting adults from a trauma-informed, culturally-responsive, somatic, social justice and Internal Family Systems (IFS) perspective, and am intimately aware of the particular challenges of Asian Americans, marginalized groups and the immigrant experience. I provide a relatable, compassionate and open space, where you can explore all aspects of yourself, and feel heard, seen and known. I believe we all have the innate capacity to heal and transform. Therapy with me is holistic - engaging your mind, body, emotions and spirit - focusing on concrete skills and strategies for tangible relief in your day to day, as well as deep understanding and establishing a greater sense of self, ease and freedom to “just be”. Thank you for considering me as a potential support in your journey. I'm happy to answer any questions you have in a free 15-minute consultation.

I have 20 years of working with clients on anxiety, burnout, and overwhelm. I love building new wellness practices that are accessible and sustainable -- identifying challenges, utilizing coping skills, and creating easy self-care practices for your day. It's wonderful to see clients shift from having distress at their symptoms to feeling confident about their ability to handle what life throws at them. After 20 years of working and learning, I utilize a wide range of approaches -- the classic Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to reframe unhelpful thoughts, somatic practices like yoga, Emotional Freedom Technique, and mindfulness and breath work to help settle the body, and Internal Family Systems (IFS) to get to know with caring and curiosity what is behind the triggers and automatic responses. My pronouns are she/her, and I strive to incorporate a feminist and anti-racist perspective into my work.
