Therapists for college students near Boston College
Whether you are at a crossroads in your life, feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or sensing your life is not what it could be, help is available. As helpers, we are committed to meeting you exactly where you are by using our collection of professional tools to assist you to reach your highest potential through connection to your “true” self, the part of you who is waiting to be rediscovered and made manifest. Our orientation as therapists combines our understanding of human development, psychology, and behavioral change with wisdom and practice that is woven through most spiritual traditions. You need not consider yourself a spiritual person, nor do we insist on a particular belief system. This is only to say that our orientation integrates this awareness as an element of healing. Our ultimate goal is to empower you to free yourself from the patterns that keep you from fully thriving and to help you create the life you want to be living. It is an act of courage, not weakness, to allow others to help you.
Natalia Rosenbaum uses a holistic approach to integrate talk therapy with meditation, breath work, mindfulness and inner child work. She focuses on giving clients a transportation system to get them from a stuck, negative, and habitual place to a productive and forward-moving space where they can find the internal resources that provide energy and inner strength.
Pregnancy, postpartum, and motherhood can bring unexpected emotional shifts - anxiety, guilt, sadness, or changes in identity and relationships. If you're feeling overwhelmed or disconnected, you're not alone - and you don’t have to navigate it alone, either. With advanced training in perinatal and postpartum mental health, I'll work to help you feel more like yourself again. Together, we’ll create space for what you’re feeling and build tools to manage it. When helpful, we can incorporate movement-based practices to support nervous system regulation and body-based healing. My goal is to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where therapy feels both meaningful and manageable. When you’re ready, I’m here. Reach out to schedule an intro call - I’d be honored to support you.

Danielle Carroll, LMHC, is a psychotherapist currently providing services to children, adolescents, and young adults. Danielle utilizes a client-centered, strengths-based approach that allows her clients to feel empowered to build the skills they need to improve their quality of life. She provides a trauma-informed, nurturing, nonjudgmental environment and incorporates humor and therapeutic play into her practice, which allows her to develop relationships with clients who have historically struggled to build healthy and safe attachments to providers and caregivers. Danielle often accesses aspects of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Expressive Arts Therapy in her practice in order to meet the individualized needs of her clients. Trauma-informed care is the cornerstone of Danielle's treatment approach, as this safety net provides a necessary container to the emotional needs of her clients. Danielle graduated with a Master of Arts from Lesley University in 2018 in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a focus in Expressive Arts Therapy, and is now a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Massachusetts. Danielle has experience working with youth in a wide variety of settings, including residential treatment programs, juvenile detention centers, schools, outpatient clinics, and in-home. She is comfortable addressing a range of treatment issues and specializes in trauma, attachment, LGBTQ+, mood disorders, anxiety, and impulse control/conduct disorders.

I work with Students at all leveles and my approach is both flexible and eclectic. I often use Brief Intermittent Therapy. I find that it works best for people to come in for a defined brief period of time (such as 6-8 weeks) and focus on one specific area that needs attention; the time in therapy is more concentrated and effective. When the need arises, I welcome clients back for a "tune up." My clinical work with students and families began in the early 1990’s. Much of my career has centered on helping kids in school settings. I also work with teachers and staff. I have successfully supported clients during times of crisis, transition, and struggle. I can help with anxiety, depression, peers, LGBTQ+ issues, and post-concussion support. I invite you to reach out and see if we would work well together. I am equally comfortable working via teletherapy or in-person therapy. My office is located in Harwich Center on Cape Cod. I'm happy to discuss what works best for you. Female-first psychiatric care. If you’re navigating a new season of life—trying to conceive, pregnancy, or perimenopause—or looking for support with treatment of a specific condition such as PMS or PMDD, PCOS, ADHD, depression, or anxiety, I want to offer you the expertise, compassion, and genuine care you deserve. I am a Harvard-trained and board-certified psychiatrist specializing in women's mental health and reproductive psychiatry. I take a conservative approach to medication, taking the time to listen to you and help you make empowered decisions about your mental health. I provide medication management and psychotherapy through a female-first frame: putting you, your needs, and your wellness at the forefront of our work together. I view my work as an opportunity to help women feel seen and supported through the most transformative stages of their lives. My patients’ unique needs are at the forefront of my practice: hearing them when others have not listened, acknowledging their challenges when others have downplayed them, and empowering them to take control of their health, wellness, future, and family. I am well versed in the transition from high school to college. I am familiar with college expectations, the challenges of making new friends, and learning how to be independent. College can be such an exciting time but also really hard! It is so important to learn strategies to manage stress and having a safe place to talk about whatever you need.

My particular areas of interests include (but are not limited to): depression/anxiety, life transitions, college mental health, LGBTQIA+ issues, emotion regulation, and family work. I have significant experience working with the LGBTQIA+ community, working with children on the autism spectrum, and children/family work. I also have extensive training in risk assessments, individual, group, and family therapy. I approach each person/group as unique and will tailor my techniques/practices appropriately. My graduate work was with a concentration on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), but I also utilize techniques such as mindfulness, motivational interviewing, strength-based therapy, coping skill training, etc.
Hi! I'm Kade- a queer, nonbinary therapist that got bored of doing traditional therapy. Now, I work with clients in the outdoors (think: walk and talk therapy, or hanging out by a creek, or making nature art) or offer to bring in art and nature into our office or virtual sessions. I primarily work with LGBTQIA+ clients as well as those figuring out life after leaving or reconsidering religion. Many of my other clients are navigating life changes that feel chaotic or are just trying to give therapy "another shot". My ultimate goal for my clients is for them to get the support they're needing. So, I'll invite you to check in about what's working or not, and will work to co-create an approach to therapy based on your own needs. Therapy should never be a "one size fits all" kind of thing.
Life can be overwhelming, and through it's challenges, we often feel a need for support. As a therapist, my role is to join with you, challenge you when needed, and create a safe space for you to explore and process. I specialize in relationship issues, resolving trauma, managing the impact of anxiety, and embracing the changes that life inevitably presents us all. While I draw from a range of treatment approaches, at the heart of therapy is the relationship we build together. I believe that healing happens in connection, and we will work together to determine the best approach for you. I know starting therapy can feel like a big step. If you want a safe place to be yourself and begin to create meaningful change, I’d be happy to connect and see how we can work together!
