Analytical? Confused by others' emotions or responses? Nerdy? Scientific? Intrigued by pop culture? Let me help you find the space to explore your existing thoughts, to deepen your connection to those around you or achieve the goals that have been at arms length. Whether we are talking about severe mental health obstacles, healing traumatic wounds or wanting to fulfill goals, I will guide you through the pathways to healing. I will support you in tapping into your existing power and insight to engage the most fulfilling and meaningful life that you deserve. I am an EMDR therapist who uses an existential and humanistic approach to cultivate healing and growth in my clients lives. I am easy to talk to, nerdy, compassionate and honest. I treat a wide range of individual and relational issues. I enjoy supporting people who love a person who is mentally/physically ill or struggling with substance use. I believe that therapy is not a one-size-fits-all and I meet people where they are at. I believe you already have all the power for change within but struggle to access it as needed. Hi! My name is Amy and my primary practice specialty is grief and loss. While often people come to me due to the death of someone, grief is a wide and varied experience that can encompass many experiences: the end of a relationship, loss of a job, moving to a new place, the transition from high school to college or college to adulthood, and many others. I love working with people who acknowledge that the pain and suffering they are experiencing does not have to be managed alone and I am in the work of sitting with what can't always be fixed. Sometimes we just need a space to talk, learn coping skills, and say how much what we're dealing with sucks without people trying to problem solve or feel uncomfortable with the emotions we're experiencing. That's the space I create - one of safety, validation, humor, compassion, and unconditional permission to say, feel, and think whatever you need along your healing journey.

I specialize in helping people through difficult times, whether due to a loss or a transition. It is in these times that we feel most afraid, lost, and unsure of the way forward. It is all too common that we cope with adversity by being hard on ourselves, withdrawing in shame, or disconnecting from what nourishes us. I will help you find the tools and skills within yourself to move forward and create a new life. I will work with you to accept where you are now, find the strengths and skills you already have, and use them to climb out of your current state of unhappiness, guilt, or numbness, and toward more flexibility, joy, love, and gratitude. I use various techniques and modalities to achieve this with you, but the primary tool I use is Self- Compassion. Finding the support you need right now is important to your healing journey. I offer a non-judgmental, compassionate perspective that focuses on reframing your experience, and providing relief from suffering in the moment. The pain and fear of depression and anxiety can often cause feelings of isolation and despair, but you don't have to go through it alone.
I have worked in mental health since 2011 with a wide range of people. I mostly help people who are experiencing the effects of stress, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma, among other things. I focus on building a quality relationship with people I work with, where you feel seen, heard, and understood. I also incorporate approaches that draw on recent neuroscience research in order to provide tools and resources that can be used in the present moment, while we find ways of addressing underlying causes and creating long term change. Many people who find their way to me have already been in therapy and are looking for something a little different from traditional "talk therapy". I am committed to multiculturalism and am a LGBTQ+ ally. A few modalities I employ are EMDR, Deep Brain Reorienting (DBR), Gottman Institute, Experiential/Somatic/Gestalt (including parts work). Please feel free to explore the website, or reach out if you have any questions. Thank you.
Kaitlin Boyd is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Yoga Teacher. She specializes in helping teens and adults who are struggling with worry and sadness and want to learn how to confidently embody their authentic selves. Many of her clients are Empaths or Highly Sensitive People--they crave "more" out of life and are seekers with big questions about how to create a life worth living. They have a multitude of strengths, including the ability to feel deep compassion for others and to think critically about the world we live in. But they can also struggle with feeling misunderstood and can develop low self-confidence after focusing so much of their time and attention on others. In therapy, Kaitlin works to help clients express their true selves and find inner peace. Her approach is holistic and evidence-based, using techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Somatic Therapy, Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS), and Existential Therapy. She teaches skills to help clients cope and relate to others in healthy ways, as well as mindfulness to get in touch with the "root cause" of clients' suffering, which can be anything from an unhelpful thought pattern to an unexpressed emotion. Kaitlin welcomes a diversity of clientele and provides a safe space for clients interested in exploring their experience of oppression in the multitude of ways it manifests in our culture. Kaitlin offers the flexibility of remote online therapy sessions.

I offer a place for you to come exactly as you are. A time to step away from outside distractions – and release judgment. Together, we will foster a space of openness, warmth, compassion and creativity. We all have important stories. Sharing your story and your feelings can bring clarity, relief, and self-understanding.
We are not meant to be alone. Brandon Engler believes that life is fully lived and experienced in the context of relationships. Just as mental / emotional pain and suffering often originate in relationships, healing and growth must also come from cultivating a healthy relationship with a competent healer. Brandon takes special care to nurture this relationship with his clients so that healing and growth come naturally during the process. Brandon Engler has a Master of Arts Degree in Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology with a minor in Substance Abuse, both from the University of West Florida.
I welcome individuals from all backgrounds. I prioritize working with any and all women, girls, members of the Queer and Trans communities, and expecting parents, ages 15+. As a cisgender white woman I am aware of the privileges I hold and I honor the perspectives, backgrounds, and lived experiences of my clients. I believe in a collaborative therapeutic process and therefore will ask for your input in goal-setting and treatment planning conversations. I will at times offer clinical guidance, but not before hearing what it is you are seeking and hoping to gain from your therapy experience. My work is trauma-informed, person-centered, and strengths-based, aimed at co-creating strong therapeutic rapport. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment (ACT), Mindfulness and Grounding, and Therapeutic Art. Through each of these interventions, I aim to strengthen and empower your voice and provide a safe space to be who you are, without judgment and without expectation.
I help Gen-Z and Millennials (15-40 years old) who know in their gut that something is not right with their life to reclaim purpose, find clear direction, and make positive change. If you are feeling lost, excessive stress or overwhelmed, it may not be your fault. Most of us have not been taught how to effectively deal with the stressors and demands of the modern world. You may have tried using self-help books or social media to relieve feelings of discomfort, but continue to struggle nevertheless. Through working together, you will learn new powerful and sustainable tools to thrive and flourish. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Certified Addiction Counselor, and master-level trained mindfulness instructor. My unique approach uses evidenced-based skills that help you learn how to cope with adversity, stressors, and the demands of life. These tools will quickly help you to flourish in work, dating, relationships, school and other facets of your life. I will bring authenticity, honesty, and comic relief to the healing work we do together. I welcome you to call me for an initial 15 min complimentary consultation, and take the next step on your courageous path to change.
Welcome. Choosing a healthcare provider is one of the most important decisions you can make. You want a psychologist who is caring, knowledgeable, and accessible. Someone willing to take the time to go over all your options and treat you with honor and respect. My clinical approach is to use 40+ years of traditional training, along with principles of existential and energetic therapy. I believe in a holistic approach where mind, body, emotion and spiritual life is all taken into account. I am a certified EMDR therapist, and specialize in Post-traumatic Stress Disorder; Depression & Anxiety; Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction ( MBSR), and Mindfulness-Based Psychotherapy. I offer Zoom and in-person sessions.
My therapeutic approach is insight-oriented, relational, and collaborative. I work with adults, couples, and adolescents to make meaningful changes in their lives. Together, we will take the time to get to the heart of your story and uncover deep-rooted emotional patterns. I specialize in anxiety, depression, identity issues, relationship issues, and self-esteem. I use psychodynamic theory to explore how our early experiences impact our current functioning, and I see the therapeutic relationship as a corrective experience to heal our early attachment wounds. In our work together, I will gently challenge you to say the unsayable, learn to trust yourself, get out of your own way, and discover new ways to relate to yourself and others. I am a Licensed Social Worker in private practice in Denver, Colorado. I earned my Masters in Social Work with a concentration in Family Systems as well as a post-graduate certificate in trauma therapy from the University of Denver Graduate School of Social Work. I also completed a post-graduate program in Marriage and Family therapy at Denver Family Institute.
You may notice sleep worsening, stress lingering, or feeling on edge without knowing why. Anxiety, depression, or past experiences often show up first in the body, mood, or relationships. I’m Steve Valente, LCSW, a therapist in Colorado with over 30 years in social services. In addition to my clinical work, I’m a touring musician, which gives me a unique understanding of the pressures and unpredictability of creative life. I especially enjoy working with musicians and creatives to stay grounded, manage stress, and build a life that supports both mental health and passion.
The intake process typically spans about four sessions, during which the emphasis is on assessing the compatibility between you and me. This initial stage is crucial as we establish a foundation for our therapeutic alliance and become acquainted with each other. A central element of my practice involves being fully present during our sessions and attuned to nonverbal cues. I listen to not only what you are saying but how you are feeling in the moment. I encourage you to observe and share your experiences during our discussions, fostering a sense of being present 'in the room' together. The therapy session serves as a secure space where we can explore your beliefs about yourself, how you make sense of the world, and your ways of connecting with other people. It provides an opportunity for you to practice assertiveness, express your emotions and needs, and challenge any assumptions about my perceptions and interactions with you.
You don't have to figure everything out on your own. College and young adulthood can be exciting, but they can also bring stress, uncertainty, relationship challenges, academic pressure, anxiety, and questions about who you are and where you're headed. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected, or simply not like yourself, therapy can provide a space to slow down, make sense of what you're experiencing, and move forward with greater confidence. My approach is warm, direct, and collaborative. I believe therapy should be more than just talking about problems—it should help you gain insight, develop practical tools, and create meaningful change. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), and trauma-informed practices to help clients better understand themselves, improve relationships, and build resilience. I work with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship and communication challenges, life transitions, self-esteem concerns, and school-related stress. As both a Licensed Professional Counselor and a school counselor with extensive experience supporting adolescents and young adults, I understand the unique challenges that can come with balancing academics, relationships, family expectations, and personal growth. Clients often describe me as warm, genuine, and engaged. Together, we'll explore what's keeping you stuck, identify your strengths, and develop strategies that fit your goals and values. I provide virtual therapy throughout Colorado and offer services in both English and Spanish.
Are you constantly overwhelmed? Expecting perfection from yourself? Consistently thinking, "what if"? Are you tired of a therapist that gives you the "smile and nod"? Me too! You deserve a therapeutic space that honors your story and offers opportunity for transformative growth. Sessions will provide you with the space to express your thoughts and feelings. In feeling safe and comfortable, you'll be able to gain clarity and feel the emotions that you need to honor. I provide a non-judgemental space where you can be yourself and ensure that the process is collaborative. There isn't a "one size fits all" approach to therapy. Our sessions will fit your specific needs and concerns. Wellness Within uses integrative approaches that are tailored to each unique individual to align with their goals. The hope is to honor mind, body, and spirit. My specialties include supporting women who are working through challenges such as anxiety, people pleasing, burnout, perfectionism, women's health, and life transitions.
