For as long as I can remember, I’ve been passionate about working with people — listening to their stories, understanding their experiences, and helping them find their way through life’s challenges. Becoming a therapist has always been my calling, and it’s truly an honor to walk alongside my clients as they navigate both the struggles and joys of life. My practice offers a safe, supportive space where you can feel heard, understood, and accepted. I believe that the relationship between a therapist and a client is one of the most powerful tools for healing and growth. Building a genuine, trusting connection is at the heart of my approach. and together we’ll explore your experiences, identify patterns, and work toward meaningful change in your life. I work with individuals, couples, and families in both short- and long-term therapy. I am here to support you and help navigate: relationship issues, parenting challenges, or life transitions, anxiety, depression, OCD, and feelings of just being stuck. Additionally, I specialize in marriage and couples counseling to help partners improve communication, rebuild trust, and strengthen their emotional bonds. Reaching out for support takes courage. I will meet you with compassion and understanding- you don’t have to face life's challenges alone. We'll work together to help you find balance, clarity, and connection in your life and connection in your life and relationships. I genuinely look forward to getting to know you and guiding you through your journey toward healing and growth.
Hi! As a clinically-trained therapist, I want you to know that the struggles you face and the traumas you have experienced do not have to define you. You have the ability to create a new path for yourself, to live the life you really want to live. I would love to help you create that life. As a Christian counselor, I believe God created perfection and placed it all in the Garden of Eden. Unfortunately, sin entered the picture and people have been struggling with the effects of sin ever since. Sometimes that struggle is beyond our resources and understanding. We need to have someone help us through life's troubles. I work with adults, couples, and teenagers. I am interested in helping my clients deal with depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, relationship issues, spiritual issues, marriage issues, trauma, and others. My husband and I have been in church ministry for over 40 years. We've seen a lot. While I am passionate about my own spiritual walk, I do respect the journey each person is on. It is not my place to dictate to you how your walk should look. God is big enough to handle that part all by himself. I am married to a pastor, have two adult children, and one son-in-law. I dearly love spending time with my family and sometimes try to do a craft project.

Welcome to Mindful Healing! Where your journey to healing begins! I work with individuals that struggle to find inner peace and balance. Often due to depression and anxieties their life. I can help guide, support, and validate their feelings. As a person-centered counselor, my clients find a space to explore and express their emotions in a positive, non judgmental, safe environment.
I’m an LPC with a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northwestern University and 2 years of clinical experience in both nonprofit and private practice settings. I work with individuals and couples navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, borderline personality disorder (BPD), bipolar disorder, relationship challenges, and life transitions. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling stuck in patterns that are hard to change on their own, overwhelmed by emotions, or unsure how to move forward in relationships or in life. My approach is eclectic and personalized, drawing from CBT, DBT, humanistic, gestalt, existential, and narrative therapy. I believe in unconditional positive regard, autonomy, and transparency—clients are the experts of their own lives, and my role is to help guide and support meaningful, lasting change in a way that fits who they are. In our first session, we complete a biopsychosocial assessment, talk through your goals, and make space for any questions you have about therapy. From there, we collaborate on a plan that feels comfortable and supportive, gradually exploring your history and patterns while building toward practical, forward-focused growth.
I help students and young adults navigate challenges like anxiety, depression, academic stress, relationship struggles, and figuring out who you are in the middle of all the transitions life throws at you. My approach is collaborative and holistic—we look at both your mental and physical health, using tools like cognitive reframing and psychotherapy to find what actually works for you. I believe there’s no one right answer for anyone, so we work together to figure out solutions that fit your life and goals. My goal is to make every session a space where you feel heard, supported, and safe to be yourself. Think of me as a partner in helping you handle the stress, find balance, and build the skills to thrive on campus and beyond.

I view my role as a therapist much like that of a guide as well as a teacher. I work to help clients build and maintain the necessary tools they already have existing within themselves and lead clients to new discoveries of living life in a more balanced way. Through utilizing existing tools, as well as learning new possibilities of living, clients are able to reach their full potential for prolonged success. The foundational approaches I choose to work from are person centered, and mindfulness based. I also utilize experiential forms of therapy. I specialize in working with life transitions, anxiety, depression, eating disorders, substance abuse/addiction, spiritual identity, and helping to develop coping mechanisms/tools to reduce stress. I work with both men and women, young adults, and adults. Finding the right counselor can be a difficult process. I want to make sure we are going to be a good fit and that's why I offer a free 15min initial phone consultation. I look forward to working with you.
I specialize in trauma, anxiety, and eating disorders and am trained in Brainspotting and Safe and Sound Protocol (a music therapy intervention). I work well with college students who are feeling overwhelmed, anxious, unmotivated, emotionally stuck, or experiencing sleep and focus issues.
