Are you ready to explore a new path and navigate life’s challenges successfully? Develop a growth mindset and move towards success. Transform and become truly authentic. As your guide, I will spark your curiosity and ignite motivation. I will actively listen, offer empathetic and compassionate feedback, and encourage self-discovery through introspection. As you begin to value the process you will realize that the journey matters more than the destination. On this path you will develop a growth mindset, truly believing that you can become better and improve with time and practice. As you begin to live the life you want to live you will start embracing challenges. You might even find you enjoy them. As you start to harness the power of your mind, you’ll begin to get the results you want and move towards success. We will work together to identify your values and set incremental, and realistic goals that will lead to growth. We will develop a personalized set of tools and skills to help you better manage challenges. You will practice being comfortable making mistakes and being more open to criticism. It is often through making mistakes that we really learn. With dedication and effort you can increase self-awareness, positive thinking, and self-compassion. You will become more resilient and discover abilities you didn’t even know you possessed. Difficult experiences can lead to rich rewards. With Brainspotting and EMDR you can adaptively process trauma and emerge stronger. You will recognize your personal strength, and start to explore new possibilities. You will begin to improve your relationships, gain a greater appreciation for life, and grow spiritually. Happiness and contentment are attainable. It starts with one step.

Let's face it - our day-to-day lives can be difficult, stressful, and complex. So of course, we will be impacted on some level by the systems around us. It is a part of what makes us human! I truly believe that a deeper understanding our emotions and experiences can help us move through whatever we face. Having the skills and the community to help us navigate difficult moments is possible! It is truly an honor to be a part of that journey with clients. I utilize music with therapeutic intention to build resilience and empowerment. I also utilize talk therapy to connect with clients, offering a space for verbal processing and conversation. Adopting both a Relational and Systems Theory approach, I strive to meet the client where they are at in order to collaborate on treatment goals and interventions. Therapy can feel uncertain and overwhelming, especially at first. I commend you for doing your due diligence in researching and exploring your options. It is an absolute privilege and honor to be a part of this journey with you!

*I am licensed in both Oregon and California, and can work with students who often travel between these two states.* When the difficult experiences from your past are still impacting you, it is hard to know what to do. You don’t feel like yourself anymore, and the people in your life are starting to notice. It’s coming out at school, in your relationships, in your mood. You might be thinking “I just want to move on with my life. Why can’t I just get over it already?” But no matter how many times you try to move on, you still feel stuck. You are not alone. I help people who have been through difficult childhood, sexual, and relationship experiences look at how their experiences have shaped them, and explore how to take back their lives from the memories that have burdened them for so long. Together, we will build a trusting relationship where you can feel safe enough to explore what happened in your life, the ways you have survived, and how to get unstuck so you can move toward a life that is ruled by you, and not by the past. I know reaching out to begin therapy can be an overwhelming experience. I offer a free 15-20 minute consultation, where you can share a bit about what you would like to work on, ask me any questions you may have, and we can determine whether I might be a good fit for your needs. Please feel free to visit my website to learn more and schedule a consultation. I'm looking forward to meeting you!

I am a licensed psychologist who specializes in the treatment of anxiety disorders and relationship issues. Even more specifically, my specialty rests in helping women navigate the anxiety and overwhelm that arises when they think about saying no, setting boundaries, or expressing their true opinions. Many of my clients are exhausted from agreeing to things they don’t want to do, staying in relationships out of obligation or fear, or managing a busy social life that leaves them feeling unfulfilled and ultimately disconnected. As an attachment-based therapist, I work with women to uncover the roots of these patterns in their relationships, helping them get grounded in their values and build the courage to show up authentically. My approach helps to create context for conditioned behaviors and beliefs so that clients find their voice, face the fear of speaking their truth, and experience the freedom of being unapologetically themselves and more aligned with their values. I take a holistic approach to treatment, combining somatic work, nervous system regulation, and relational therapy. My work also incorporates nutrition and movement to support overall wellness, empowering clients to align their physical, emotional, and relational health. I completed my applied graduate training at Portland State University's Student Health and Counseling Center as a psychologist intern and was employed there as a part-time psychologist before opening my private practice. My residency was completed at Reed College Health and Counseling Center and I have also had the wonderful opportunity to complete early field work training at University of Portland's Health and Counseling Center. I love working with college students and it is a joy to be able to provide students with the opportunity for longer-term psychotherapy.

I see therapy as a place for people to be deeply understood and gently challenged to take action on what they value most. I use a collaborative, strengths-based approach to support what is already working for you, including your innate resilience and knowledge, while also targeting areas of struggle. I recognize that healing and change happen in the context of genuine, consistent, and intentional relationships, and strive to bring these things into therapy along with techniques from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. I also deeply value feminist, queer, and liberation psychologies and draw upon these wisdoms to explore the struggle of being human from a social justice lens. Relatedly, my understanding of systems of oppression, and therefore my orientation to therapeutic practice, are informed by my identities as a White, Jewish, pansexual cisgender woman.

I work best with young adults, especially those who self-identify as women or are exploring their gender identity/expression, navigating the early-adulthood years. You might be juggling academic or career decisions, feeling anxious or burnt out, experiencing changes in friendships or romantic relationships, and wondering what truly matters to you. In a warm, collaborative, and gender-affirming space, we’ll use tools from CBT, mindfulness, and self-compassion to help you build confidence, manage anxiety, and reconnect with your values so you can live more authentically and with less overwhelm. If this sounds like what you need, I’d love to connect and see if we’re a good fit.
