Hello! My name is Nicole Wong (she/her) and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in New York’s Hudson Valley. I specialize in helping adults heal from trauma, overcome anxiety, and relinquish their self-doubt. Your voice deserves to be heard and listened to. I would so appreciate the opportunity to engage in this therapeutic process with you. In my work, I provide trauma-informed, strengths-based, and person-centered therapy to my clients, while integrating an empathic, intersectional, and holistic approach. My practice is grounded in allowing my clients to explore all aspects of their identities while working through their life experiences. It is important to me that you are in control of your therapeutic process and that our work together is collaborative in its approach and catered to meet your needs and goals. Prior to my transition to being a therapist, I worked for nine years in trauma and anti-violence, university administration, and nonprofit management. For most of my professional career, I have helped individuals heal from trauma and loss and advocated for survivors in their communities. My foundations in trauma-informed approaches and advocacy remain a strong tenet of my work with clients today. I earned my Masters of Science degree in Social Work at Columbia University in Advanced Clinical Practice with a focus on Health, Mental Health, and Disabilities. Previously, I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and English from Vassar College.
As a licensed psychologist in New York, I specialize in working with both adolescents and adults who are facing anxiety, life changes, self-esteem struggles, stress, and challenges related to major life changes (such as going to college). My goal is to create a supportive, non-judgmental space where you feel heard and understood My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and integrative. I combine evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), person-centered therapy, and mindfulness techniques. This combination helps address the unique challenges you may be facing while building self-awareness and self-compassion along the way. In our sessions, you can expect to share your story, and I will take the time to truly understand your experiences. Together, we’ll work to identify your needs and start developing strategies for managing stress and navigating life’s transitions. I believe that the therapeutic journey should be a partnership, and I’ll be there with you every step of the way

Hi there! My name is Brianna, and I intertwine my experiences as a psychotherapist, yoga teacher, perpetual student, community organizer, and insights from my own mental health journey into my holistic practice. I aim to provide an engaging and warm environment where together we can access tools to help you cope with stressors; set healthy boundaries and improve communication to fuel connection and build relationships; step into your emotions to better regulate them; reprocess past traumatic experiences; and strengthen your attunement and awareness to your body. You have the innate power to heal yourself, I’m simply here to guide and empower you along the way. I use techniques from multiple modalities, such as eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), somatic experiencing (SE), internal family systems (IFS), intuitive eating, and feminist therapy, while always adding a multicultural and anti-oppressive lens. Together we can collaborate to tailor an approach that best addresses your needs in an environment where you feel seen, heard, and empowered. If you're someone who feels better after talking things through—those who find relief in external processing and venting—you're in the right place. Many of my clients come to me because they feel the need to keep their feelings and thoughts bottled up around friends and family, out of fear of judgment or being a burden. I provide a safe, non-judgmental space where you can express yourself freely. My approach is laid-back and conversational. I’m here to listen, ask questions, and engage in real, down-to-earth discussions. Humor and genuine interactions are part of how I create a comfortable space for you to explore your thoughts and emotions. I work with individuals who are dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, school/career stress, or communication challenges with family members. Clients often tell me that our work together helps them better regulate their emotions, respond to challenges with greater ease, set healthier boundaries, and improve their self-esteem. My therapeutic style is collaborative and non-judgmental, focusing on creating a space where you feel supported and understood. Reach out to see if we may be a good fit!

I am a licensed creative arts therapist specializing in drama therapy and psychodrama. I am here to guide you towards a healthier, more balanced and fulfilling life as an adult. Together, we examine your life journey, the roles you play along the way, and the relationships you have with others as well as yourself. Sessions are held weekly for 45 minutes, during which we may dialogue, use metaphor, or embody action techniques. All forms of creative expression are welcome if you should choose to include them in your treatment.
College is a time of real growth — and real pressure. For many students, it's also when questions about identity, mental health, and how they move through the world come into sharper focus. I work with college students who are navigating anxiety, depression, burnout, identity exploration, trauma history, or the particular exhaustion that comes with being neurodivergent in demanding academic environments. Many of the young adults I work with are autistic, ADHD, or both — and are often doing so without the scaffolding that got them through high school. Others are transgender or gender-diverse, and are figuring out who they are while managing minority stress, family dynamics, and systems that don't always make things easy. My approach is relational and collaborative. I don't follow a rigid protocol — I draw from ACT, DBT, and CBT, and I tailor what we do to who you are and what you actually need. Sessions are a place to build insight, develop real skills, and figure out how to live more fully as yourself. I'm a licensed clinical psychologist with advanced training in gender-diverse care, trauma, and neurodevelopment. Before opening my practice, I spent two years at Yale's Pediatric Gender Program and completed my doctoral internship at Yale School of Medicine. I keep my caseload focused so I can do this work with the depth it deserves. Sessions are available via telehealth across Connecticut and New York, and in person in Southington, CT — which may be convenient for students at nearby colleges and universities. I also see adolescents and teens, so referrals for younger clients are welcome. I'm happy to connect with counseling center staff to discuss fit, coordination of care, or consultation. The best way to reach me is through my website or by phone.

I am a clinical psychologist with 8 years of experience. I primarily work from an Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) framework. Together, we’ll clarify what is most important to you, identify your life goals, and strategize ways to reduce your suffering while moving you closer to those goals. I also integrate CBT, DBT, and mindfulness. My approach is transparent, intersectional, and above all: human. All of your identities are welcome here, so let’s talk about how your mental health intersects with race, gender, sexuality, spirituality, and all the other parts that make you, you. I specialize in working with clients (16+) who identify across the spectrums of gender and sexual orientation, and families who want to learn how to be more supportive of their loved ones. My (virtual) therapy room is a safe/brave space for anyone whose identity tends to be excluded from society. I offer individual, couples, and family therapy via telehealth. I also provide supervision, consultation, and workshops around topics of diversity and mental health. To learn more and see if we might be a good fit, reach out for a free consultation. Please note: I am not in network with any medicaid ("community plan") or medicare plans. I am in network only with the commercial insurances noted in this profile. Referrals with United Healthcare Community Plan (Medicaid) will be referred back to the counseling center for an alternate referral.

Starting college or graduate school —or navigating your way through them—can be both exciting and overwhelming. Many students find themselves facing stress, anxiety, relationship challenges, identity questions, academic pressure, or major life transitions, often for the first time. You don’t have to figure it all out on your own. I specialize in working with college students and young adults, and I understand the unique pressures of university life—from managing expectations and finding your place, to coping with self-doubt, loneliness, or burnout. Whether you’re struggling or simply wanting to better understand yourself and grow, therapy can be a space where things begin to feel more manageable and more hopeful. My approach is warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental. I believe that meaningful change happens in a strong, trusting therapeutic relationship, where you feel safe to be yourself and explore what’s really going on beneath the surface. Together, we’ll work at your pace to better understand your experiences, build resilience, and develop tools that help you move forward with greater confidence and clarity. I have over 15 years of experience in the mental health field, including working in university counseling centers, where I supported students through many of the challenges you may be facing now. I’ve worked with individuals from diverse backgrounds and identities, and I am committed to creating an inclusive, affirming space where you feel seen and respected. I also have experience working with international students, students with disabilities and chronic health conditions, Deaf and hard of hearing students, and those navigating complex family or cultural dynamics. Reaching out for support can feel like a big step—but it can also be the beginning of feeling more like yourself again. You deserve support, understanding, and a space to grow. I would be honored to be part of that process with you.
