**Free 25 minute Consultation Calls** As a Latina psychotherapist, my work is rooted in creating a space where you feel seen, heard, and supported on your path toward healing. My personal journey has shaped my commitment to providing inclusive, culturally aware, and affirming therapy. I work with those struggling with anxiety, negative thought patterns, sex and sexuality, intergenerational trauma, family conflict, religious trauma, self-worth, relationships, and life transitions. I am passionate about supporting first-gen individuals, children of immigrants and have a special interest in working with those whose intersecting identities shape the way they experience the world. Aside from my work in a private practice setting, I have served as Associate Director of a counseling and wellness center for 5 years.

Have you ever felt that no one in this world truly cares? Have you ever felt that no one ever listens? Have you been talking about your personal issues to all your loved ones, friends, or coworkers? Well, it is time that you speak to a professional about any concerns or doubts you may be experiencing in life I have experience in the addiction field with service veterans with PTSD, Depression, and Anxiety, with a focus on person-centered care for individuals who are seeking compassionate care. I have advocated for my clients to improve their quality of life concerns through integrated services and appropriate referrals to treatment. In session, we will build a therapeutic relationship to meet your goals and needs. We will work together to meet you exactly where you are. I let my clients sit in the driver’s seat and take me on their life journeys in which we identify, explore, process and adapt to emotional and cognitive changes to daily functioning. We will create strategies that are evidenced-based practices to help you cope with stressors and life events. We may also explore traumatic experiences from past to present, and we will ensure a safe place to express those feelings and thoughts. My therapeutic approach is in acceptance and commitment therapy, and person-centered therapy with a holistic approach. I focus on the individual as a whole and get to know you as a person. I utilize mindfulness interventions and motivational interviewing skills to help you reframe your thinking and build trust in communication. I hope for my clients to understand that changes happen over time and with hard dedicated work, they will notice their own changes in their path along their journeys. I hope to reach out to all individuals who experience all kinds of trauma at any point in their lives. You are never alone! Help is always available! Richard Loutfi is a therapist at Oak Garden Mental Health Counseling, PC. I am looking forward to connecting with you soon!

I practice online, utilizing HIPAA compliant videoconferencing software. My clients are people seeking help with depression, anxiety, family conflict, relationship issues and life transitions. My approach is collaborative and supportive, yet also challenging. Our task is to unpack the issues that are being brought up in our sessions and use them to facilitate growth and change. The relationship we develop is the most important thing to me.

Welcome to Soul Sync Health! We are a psychiatrist-led, trauma-informed practice in New York dedicated to providing evidence-based care for students and young adults. Many of the individuals we work with share a common feeling: on the outside, they seem to be "handling it," but on the inside, they are running on fumes. Whether you are navigating the pressure of being a high-achiever, feeling the weight of "imposter syndrome," or struggling to find your identity outside of academic or family expectations, you aren’t alone. We believe that your mental health cannot be separated from the world you live in, which is why our work is rooted in the understanding that your race, gender, sexuality, and cultural background deeply shape your lived experience. We invite your whole self into the room, acknowledging that systemic barriers and identity-based struggles are often at the heart of the stress you carry. We’ve found that our clients thrive best in a space where they don’t have to "perform" or explain away their cultural values. If you’re tired of being told to simply "practice self-care" while your plate remains overflowingly full, we offer a different, culturally responsive approach. Our practice is a judgment-free zone where we help you untangle the "mental fog" of anxiety, code-switching, and decision fatigue. By breaking down big, overwhelming feelings into smaller, manageable pieces, we work together to move you from a state of constant survival to a place of genuine, grounded confidence. We strive to provide care that is curious rather than presumptive, meeting you with the validation you deserve as you navigate the complexities of your unique identity. Our ultimate goal is to help you build a life that feels authentic to you, not just one that looks good on paper. We work best with those who are ready to look beneath the surface and explore the roots of their stress, building sustainable tools that last long after graduation. At Soul Sync Health, we prioritize a collaborative approach that honors your perspective and helps you dismantle the internal and external pressures holding you back. You don’t need to have the "right" words or a perfect plan to start; you just need to show up as you are. We’re here to help you find your own rhythm in the middle of all the noise.

I bring warmth, understanding, and real-life perspective into the therapy space. For over four years, I have worked with young women navigating anxiety, relationship stress, family dynamics, life transitions, and the lasting impact of past experiences. My approach is rooted in psychodynamic therapy, which means we gently explore the patterns and emotions shaping your present so you can better understand yourself and create meaningful change. I strive to create a space where you don’t have to have it all figured out, where you can show up exactly as you are. Together we’ll make sense of what feels overwhelming, build practical tools for coping, and strengthen your sense of self. I see therapy as a collaborative process, and I’ll meet you with honesty, compassion, and a little humor along the way You deserve to feel confident in your choices, secure in your relationships, and kinder toward yourself. My goal is to help you feel truly seen, heard, and supported as you move toward the life you want

Being a college student—while also navigating identity, familial expectations, social anxiety, academic pressures, substance use, sex, sexuality, and questions about the future—can be a lot. I get it. With personal experience in many of these areas and professional experience supporting youth and young adults through trauma, mental health challenges, and life transitions, I know how overwhelming this stage can feel. My name is Eric Almond, LMSW, and I’ve worked with youth in community programs, outpatient clinics, and campus-based support spaces. I also know what it's like to return to school after some time away, and the challenges that inevitably follow. Whether you're new to school, returning, or continuing later in life, I aim to create a space that feels grounding, warm, and affirming—one where you don’t have to have it all figured out to be taken seriously. You're allowed to show up just as you are, and we’ll work from there. I offer a free fifteen minute virtual consultation to see if we're a good fit. Clients who come to me have expressed feeling a change in their mood, such as feeling more irritable, more anxious than usual or that they just don't feel like themselves and aren't enjoying things that they once used to. I will provide you with a non-judgmental and accepting environment where you can feel comfortable talking openly about difficult emotions and topics. Since each person is a unique individual with his or her own experiences, I use a holistic approach to therapy that’s unique to who you are and what you will need to support your well-being. In therapy we will explore connections between your past and present experiences so you can gain a deeper sense of awareness about yourself, identify problems so you can get to the bottom of why you are feeling the way you area and learn coping skills so you can better manage symptoms and find relief in challenging moments. Mental health concerns that I specialize in but are not limited to include: anxiety, depression and trauma, as well as family dynamics, life transitions, career-related stress and self-esteem. We’re told all sorts of misinformed messages that downplay the importance of mental health, so it’s no surprise if you are hesitant or nervous about the idea of therapy but remember that you are entitled to get help, no matter what you are going through.
