Hi there! My name is Sienna, and I am an LCMHCA in NC. I graduated from East Carolina University in 2025 with a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, with an emphasis in addiction. I also graduated from Appalachian State in 2023 with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, concentrating in Human Services. I believe therapy is a space where you can come exactly as you are. I do not believe in a one-size-fits-all mentality, meaning each session is tailored specifically to you. Most of my experience comes from working with the neurodivergent community as well as students and young adults. I have experience working with anxiety, depression, OCD, interpersonal conflict, substance use, trauma, and PTSD. I also use an eclectic approach that is person-centered and incorporates ACT, CBT, DBT, and mindfulness. Currently I am seeing clients via telehealth in NC.

People usually don’t come to therapy because everything is going great — something’s off, something hurts, or something just isn’t working. Maybe you're overwhelmed, stuck in anxiety spirals, in a relationship that feels like a full-time job, or replaying the same patterns on a loop and wondering why life feels like a bad rerun. Whether it’s stress, communication breakdowns, or feeling like you’ve become everyone’s emotional support human, we’ll sort through the mess together. The goal is to help you move forward with more clarity, confidence, and a little less chaos in your day-to-day. I also specialize in helping those impacted by narcissistic behavior, whether you're spotting some of those traits in yourself, or you're in a relationship that feels confusing, one-sided, or emotionally draining. These patterns can be difficult to untangle, but together we can help make sense of it. My style blends empathy, curiosity, real talk, and humor—because sometimes if you don’t laugh, you cry. I’m here to support you and gently challenge old habits. Growth is messy, awkward, and sometimes uncomfortable, but it’s also where the good stuff lives. If you're ready to dive in- not just to feel better, but to do better- I’m here for it.
Providing steadfast hope for individuals and couples.

Whether you are new to therapy or someone who is looking to explore a deeper, more profound approach, I am here to help you learn the tools and skills to create positive change in your life. My practice is about creating a safe space where clients are able to heal from anxieties, past difficulties, and traumas by increasing their awareness and acceptance of the different parts that make up who we are as human beings. In doing so, clients are able to release the burdens of the past and find new direction in their lives. I specialize in treating Trauma/ PTSD, Anxiety, Self-Esteem, LGBTQIA+ populations and more. My approach is to go in depth and explore core issues fundamental to well-being. Together, we will treat the causes, not just the symptoms. Getting to the root of mental health challenges facilitates deep transformation and healing from the inside out. I promise to offer you a safe space for exploration with compassion and an open mind. I employ evidence-based models that are individualized to meet your specific needs. I am certified in EMDR, which helps clients process and move past the emotional and physical pain rooted in traumatic memories. I also employ approaches from IFS, DBT and ACT. I am trained in mindfulness and self compassion based approaches and incorporate this into therapy.
At Myers-Galloway Counseling, we specialize in supporting women who are used to holding everything together — for their families, their friends, and everyone around them — while quietly putting themselves last. Hello! Are you finding that college isn't quite what you thought it would be? I get it...it's a tough transition and a steep learning curve. Anxiety, homesickness, some grief, comparison, high expectations, new ways of communicating, living on your own, conflict with roommates, and that might only describe the first semester! There are then decisions to make about your interests, to study abroad or not, where to intern, what organizations and extracurriculars to get involved in, feeling too stretched for time and unable to manage all responsibilities well, the stress of a job or your athletic demands. You don't have to navigate this alone––I can help! I specialize in helping students navigate these issues and more through a lens of self-compassion, skill-building, and a sense of empowerment. These issues are not unique to you and you can learn to build resilience and tools that will help you now and in your future.

I am a licensed psychotherapist specializing in the treatment of anxiety and childhood trauma. I have clinical experience across crisis intervention, substance use treatment, and outpatient therapy settings, working with individuals experiencing acute distress as well as ongoing mental health concerns. My approach is grounded in the belief that unresolved trauma can significantly influence emotional regulation, self-concept, and interpersonal functioning. Clients often seek treatment when they feel “stuck,” overwhelmed, or notice persistent patterns related to past experiences that interfere with daily functioning, relationships, or goal attainment. I provide a supportive, structured therapeutic environment where clients can explore these concerns, develop insight, and work toward sustainable change. I utilize evidence-based modalities including Psychodynamic Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Treatment focuses on increasing self-awareness, processing traumatic experiences, addressing maladaptive thought and behavior patterns, and strengthening coping skills. Therapy is collaborative and tailored to each client’s clinical needs and treatment goals. I welcome individuals seeking to engage in therapy to address anxiety, trauma-related concerns, and personal growth.
Truth is I am tired! These are words that I have uttered multiple times during my life journey and I am sure you have as well. As a black boy growing up in the rural south, I know how hard it can be to find space to talk about the hard things. Most of the times we are taught to not have feelings and explore the individual, familial, and societal stressors that constantly impact our ability to honor ourselves. You might be looking for someone to bear witness to the pain and the hardships in your life to feel safe enough to get out of your head and into your body. As a therapist, I understand that healing is a journey and does not happen overnight. Progress is never linear, and my goal is to create space for the good, bad, and the ugly. You will be treated like a human and given the right to access all the parts of you that make you who you are without judgement. I am passionate about providing spaces where you can move from a place of survival to thriving while caring for the whole person. At the end of the day I want you to walk away feeling empowered and confident and today could be the right time to begin.
Welcome, I'm glad you are here. If you need a safe space to talk it out, I am here to listen. If you need to cry, yell, lament, or laugh I am here for it! I find it is beneficial, for those that I work with, to talk and to do. I often incorporate creative experiences, outdoor therapy, and movement as integral parts of the counseling process. I consider myself informal, personable, often humorous, and accepting of others. I'm looking forward to meeting you soon.
