Therapists for college students near Northeastern University
Sometimes it's really hard for us to ask for help-especially when you're a strong, independent woman. Therapy is a great way to reach out, learn more about yourself, and grow through any challenges you might be facing. I help women who want to change their relationship with food and their bodies. I work with women in individual, group, & virtual therapy. I have a holistic approach that covers a wide range of symptoms & issues, but I enjoy helping clients who have struggled with their weight make peace with food. I love working with college women who are graduating & seeking support for the transition, and specialize in those women experiencing a "quarter life crisis". I also have a lot of experience helping women with recovering from sexual trauma. I love working with women who may have experienced an unplanned pregnancy or abortion as well, and offer an non-judgemental, pro-choice arena to explore emotions. Starting therapy can seem scary, but its brave to get some help! Make the decision to feel better today. I am an Out of Network insurance provider-contact your insurance to see if you qualify for these benefits. Flexible spending and HSA accepted as payment. I create a safe space for you to explore who you are, your experiences in life, and what you would like to become or experience, by providing a non-judgmental, respectful, calm, stable, and positive atmosphere as your counselor. I will encourage and guide you to be your authentic self. The populations I specialize in counseling include people who identify within the broad spectrums of sexual orientation and gender identity and expression (and their loved ones), persons living with HIV, social justice & civil rights workers, and polyamorous folks & others in non-traditional, open, and/or kink relationships. I have experience working with clients with anxiety, depression, trauma, low self-esteem, and those who are going through life changes. I also enjoy teaching life and coping skills, assertive communication, boundary setting, mindfulness, and doing relationship counseling, career counseling, and life coaching. Sessions are video telehealth only, and are $100 for 45-minute sessions.

As people, we are always in bloom. Over time, we become different versions of ourselves. The shifting landscape of how we relate to the world around us can be both thrilling and terrifying, and it can be hard to know how to process and adjust to life's transitions. I support clients in developing insight into their internal worlds, and exploring how core perspectives and beliefs shape interactions in the external world. Through this process, clients are able to identify aspects of past versions of themselves that are no longer serving them, and areas of strength that they can carry forward into future phases. I take an eclectic, person-centered approach to counseling in order to provide unique, personalized care. I prioritize creating a genuine connection with my clients based on trust, honesty, and respect. I balance creativity and practicality when problem-solving, and use psychoeducation to demystify and destigmatize mental health topics. My approach to counseling has been developed over three years of professional work in a variety of settings. I have worked with clients of all ages, with a wide variety of needs, abilities, and backgrounds. And, even with the skills I’ve acquired so far, I am also still in progress: I intend to continue learning, changing, and blooming along with you.

Telehealth appointments only! I received my master’s degree from Lesley University in Mental Health Counseling specializing in Music Therapy in 2018. I enjoy my clinical work and value the courage it takes to engage in therapy. I am an outgoing, personable individual, and provide a creative, safe, and welcoming environment for my clients to meet the challenges in life in order to live their best lives. My clients are always eager to do the work in therapy, of course at varying degrees. Therapy is for those who want it and not necessarily those who "need" it. Frankly, I think everyone would benefit from being in therapy, but it would not be successful without any investment on their end. If one is not interested or motivated to change, then the tools and techniques I provide will not be able to help you. I can understand when it is difficult to complete tasks or follow up on recommendations that I will suggest, however, once you start the work you will see a difference. My clients often come to me feeling stuck, unsure of themselves, lacking confidence, and struggling to function in their everyday lives. If you are looking to learn more about yourself and how past and/or current issues are impacting you then I am your person! I am currently working at Fitzgerald Counseling Group and you can reach out to them via their website, phone number, or email, and request you are interested in working with me!
I hold a B. A. in English from Shanghai University and a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Teachers College, Columbia University. Over the last 19 years, I interned and practiced at various inpatient and outpatient settings, including Mt. Sinai-Roosevelt Hospital in NYC, Mt. Sinai-Beth Israel Medical Center in NYC, Amherst College Counseling Center in Amherst, MA, and the Community Health Center of Franklin County in Greenfield, MA. My own cross-cultural and cross-lingual experiences continue to shape the way I work. My “ideal patient” often shares these essential characteristics with me: bilingualism/biculturalism; deep-seated values for family, language, and culture; experiences of migration and adversity; an appreciation for authenticity and openness; and an unyielding curiosity about the inner workings of their own minds and those of others. I look forward to working with you!

Maybe you look like you're holding it together, but inside you're overwhelmed, anxious, or unsure of how to keep going. Maybe you’re trying to make sense of a tough experience, struggling to manage expectations, or just feeling... off. You want to feel better—but you also want to understand yourself more deeply and figure out how you got here. Therapy can help. Together, we’ll explore what’s going on and build a path forward. I specialize in helping college students navigate stress, anxiety, identity shifts, relationships, and big life transitions. My style is supportive and down-to-earth, and I’ll meet you wherever you are—with curiosity, calm, and without judgment. Are you feeling overwhelmed, burnt out, or like you're carrying invisible weight no one else can see? Whether you're juggling classes, navigating relationships, questioning your identity, or dealing with family or cultural pressure, you don’t have to go through it alone. I’m Tsuki, and I specialize in working with students who often feel like they don’t quite “fit the mold.” Many of the students I support are BIPOC, neurodivergent (ADHD, Autistic, AuDHD), and LGBTQIA+, and they're trying to make sense of who they are while moving through complex systems that weren’t built with them in mind. In therapy, your whole self is welcome — even the parts that feel messy or misunderstood. I offer online therapy in English, Mandarin, and Taiwanese and bring a compassionate, down-to-earth approach to our work together. Therapy with me is collaborative, flexible, and always grounded in respect for who you are and what you need. If you’re looking for support with anxiety, burnout, perfectionism, identity questions, or just feeling stuck — I’m here to help.
