I am a psychotherapist specializing in evidence-based treatment for adolescents, young adults, emerging adults, and older adults with eating disorders, mood disorders, transitional issues, academic problems, identity, self-esteem issues, trauma, and OCD. I completed my clinical internship for my master’s program at Ascend CHC where the focus of my work was working with individuals across the lifespan with eating disorders at an individual and Individualized Outpatient Program (IOP) level of treatment. I also have extensive experience conducting neuropsychological assessments. Prior to joining MSC, I have gained valuable experiences in the realms mental health, neuropsychology, personality disorders, neurocognitive disorders, and autism spectrum disorder As a Latine woman, I understand the stigmas that are associated with mental health. I believe that cultural competency is essential when working with individuals from different backgrounds. I strive to provide a safe, judgment-free, no shame, accepting, and positive therapeutic space for clients to grow and feel supported through an empathetic and collaborative approach. I truly believe that the relationship with the client is the most important element to a successful and beneficial therapeutic experience. I believe in meeting the client where they are at and fostering confidence and healing. I utilize several theories to best meet the goals of my clients, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and mindfulness, with a strong foundation in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral therapy (DBT) approach.

I help teens and adults who struggle with depression, anxiety, self injury, intense emotions, ADHD, substance misuse, as well as identity, sexuality, and gender questioning. I’m passionate about helping people begin to understand themselves, face what’s been holding them down, and develop new skills and resources while creating new paths forward. Witnessing people in therapy recognize their strengths, develop self acceptance, understand what is most important to them, and show self compassion to themselves is the best part about being a therapist and one I am grateful for.

If your mind moves quickly, your to-do list never ends, you feel stretched too thin, or you just feel behind no matter how hard you try - you are not alone! As a School Social Worker of 12 years, a wife to a first responder and a mom of 2, I understand the struggles that students and parents face as well as the pressures of teens and adults who are balancing responsibilities, while quietly carrying the mental load. I work with teens and adults navigating ADHD, anxiety, burnout and the general overwhelm that can come with everyday life. My style is calm, warm, collaborative and down-to-earth, with a little humor mixed in. Therapy should feel comfortable, not clinical. I follow a multi-modal approach, pulling from various evidenced-based methods, based on your needs. I hope to create a calm space to help you untangle what feels chaotic. You deserve an an open, non-judgemental place to share your thoughts and I offer a space where you can show up honestly, think out loud and maybe even laugh a little along the way. My goal is to help you feel calmer, more confident and more equipped to handle what life gives you.

Hi, I'm Jennifer, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who provides a supportive, nonjudgmental space where college students and young adults can explore challenges, build coping skills, and work toward meaningful change. College can be an exciting time, but it can also bring significant stress and uncertainty. I support individuals who are experiencing anxiety, depression, academic stress, burnout, life transitions, self-esteem concerns, relationship challenges, family conflict, grief and loss, and difficulties with emotional regulation. Whether you're adjusting to college life, navigating relationships, managing family expectations, or feeling overwhelmed by daily responsibilities, therapy can provide support and practical tools to help you move forward. My approach is client-centered, strengths-based, and collaborative. I primarily utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing while incorporating techniques from Solution-Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness-based approaches, and trauma-informed care. Together, we will identify your goals, build insight, strengthen coping skills, and develop strategies that fit your unique needs. I have experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families in both school-based and clinical mental health settings. As a school social worker, I provide counseling, crisis intervention, behavioral support, and collaboration with families and community providers. My experience working with adolescents and families has given me a strong understanding of the challenges that can arise during times of transition, including academic stress, changing relationships, identity development, family expectations, and increasing independence. I strive to create a welcoming environment where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered. I look forward to supporting you as you work toward greater confidence, resilience, and emotional wellbeing. *Additional evening appointments may be available Monday (6:00PM - 8:30PM) and Tuesday (6:00PM - 8:30PM). Welcome, amazing human. I’m glad you're here. Whether you are feeling stuck or trying to make sense of life, let’s chat and find ways to help you find a new path forward and feel better. Research shows that the key element in counseling is the relationship between the counselor and client. If we click, counseling will likely be effective. So let me give you a sense of my approach to counseling. I think of counseling as physical therapy for the mind and soul. Connection with self and others is key. My job is to create a space for you that feels safe, validating, and supportive, where I can introduce “exercises” that help you sort things out, gain new skills, and start feeling better. And so, whether you are at a crossroads in a relationship or your career, or simply feeling adrift in life, it would be an honor to be a part of your journey. I’d love to walk with you as you move through whatever might be overwhelming you right now: the pain of indecision, anxiety, relationship struggles, or the pressures of daily life. Let’s schedule a time to talk so you can decide if we’re a good fit to work together. Your satisfaction and relief matter most to me. Wishing you well!

It’s common to move through life feeling stuck or off-track, even when everything looks “fine” on the outside. You might be craving more clarity, authenticity, or ease in your relationships—or simply a space to reconnect with your values and sense of self. I’m Dan, a counselor with over fifteen years of experience working with students and adults navigating anxiety and self-doubt, searching for meaning and direction, and striving to feel more authentic and connected in their relationships. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in helping you reconnect with your strengths. In my work at Middlebury College and in private practice, I’ve supported people through moments of uncertainty, emotional stuckness, and growth—whether that means sorting through persistent thoughts, easing the physical toll of stress, or learning to speak more honestly and effectively with loved ones. Megan Rosecrans Psy.D. LCP received her doctoral degree from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology with a concentration in Health Psychology. Dr. Rosecrans consults with bariatric surgical teams to provide psychological support for patients both pre and post surgery. Dr. Rosecrans specializes in pre-surgical bariatric assessment and spinal stimulator evaluations. Additionally, Dr. Rosecrans offers biofeedback and hypnotherapy treatment options as part of a comprehensive treatment strategy. Dr. Rosecrans uses empirically-supported treatments and a collaborative, directive, goal-oriented, supportive, approach for individual therapy. A customized treatment strategy is designed for the specific needs of each patient. Dr. Rosecrans’ Approach to Therapy: Therapy can be scary as we are knowingly going to talk about topics that are uncomfortable. It takes strength to recognize and admit we need help, and then to open up about the discomfort we feel. Therapy is a safe space to explore these uncomfortable emotions, thoughts, behaviors, pasts, and relationships without judgement, and feeling like you are being heard. Therapy is designed to help you learn new ways to approach difficult experiences and learn tools to aid in coping with the discomfort you feel. It is important for me to make therapy a safe and collaborative process. You are your own expert in life, and I am here to help you in finding the right tools that will work for you. I use a supportive, directive, problem-solving style, applying empirically supported techniques. I approach treatment using the biopsychosocial model and Existential therapies, which allows us to explore the interaction between varying aspects of our lives and how they affect our mental health. A better understanding of ourselves helps promote the change we strive for.

Feeling seen, heard, and understood is essential to healing. If you’re struggling with life’s challenges, I want you to know that you don’t have to navigate them alone. Whether you’re facing anxiety, big transitions, grief, or simply feeling stuck, I’m here to offer a space where you can feel safe, supported, and truly listened to. Over the years, I’ve walked alongside people as they’ve found clarity, built resilience, and made meaningful changes—whether that’s finding their dream home, growing their family, stepping away from toxic relationships, or discovering a career path that brings them joy. Healing looks different for everyone, and together, we can find what works for you. My practice is inclusive and welcoming to individuals of all backgrounds, including BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and those from diverse cultural experiences. I understand the pain of otherness, the loneliness of feeling invisible, the weight of being overlooked, pushed aside, or silenced, the hiding that can come from not feeling safe to be fully yourself. This space is meant to honor all of who you are. Here, you don’t have to explain or justify your existence; there is room for your story, your identity, and your truth to be seen, heard, and held with care. No matter how painful or overwhelming your emotions may feel, you don’t have to carry them alone. I am accepting new adult patients for in-person therapy in my Marin office, which is only 13 miles north of San Francisco. I also offer telehealth for adults throughout California. Please see my website for more details about me and my practice https://www.drbernecker.com. You can also call for a free 20-minute phone consultation at 415-354-4241.
