I offer both short and long-term therapy depending on the client’s needs. I only provide services virtually and specialize in women's mental health. The students I work best with are often feeling overwhelmed by the demands of college and life. They may be struggling with anxiety, stress, burnout, self-doubt, relationship challenges, family pressures, academic concerns, or major life transitions. Many are used to being the "strong one" for everyone else and find themselves feeling emotionally exhausted, disconnected, or unsure of how to prioritize their own needs. I provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where students can better understand their emotions, build healthy coping skills, improve self-confidence, set boundaries, and navigate challenges with greater clarity. Whether they are adjusting to college life, managing stress, exploring their identity, or working through personal struggles, I help students develop practical tools and insight so they can feel more balanced, confident, and connected to what matters most to them.
Struggling to adjust to college life? Feeling stuck? Wondering why you keep finding yourself in the same struggle, experiencing the same pain or relationship issues, yet again? Or perhaps you feel invisible or unheard, or can't find your own voice? I work with clients to explore how unresolved issues from the past impact the present. In an open and safe environment, we explore authentic feelings and lost aspects of self often censored in general society, toward greater personal insight, growth and change. An accepting and validating therapy relationship can be a key element in the healing of old wounds and opening up of new possibilities. I work primarily from a psychodynamic and relational orientation to work with the deep long-term wounds, traumas, and patterns that shape self-perceptions and influence current experiences and struggles. I will incorporate other modalities as applicable. All genders, sexual orientations, and races/ethnicities welcome. I also offer Brainspotting, a cutting edge EMDR derivative, neurobiological trauma treatment. I am intensively trained in psychoanalytic theory and practice, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT) for Couples. I also bring over 25 years of corporate experience to my understanding of real world problems that clients struggle with.
I specialize in dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and stress reduction. The students I’ve worked with have learned to recognize and reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression, resulting in increased energy and focus. I’ve worked with students to develop healthy boundaries and coping skills to balance demands of academic and social life.
As a therapist with more than 30 years of experience I know that investing in oneself takes time and effort but also that the outcome is well worth the commitment – YOU are worth the commitment. By working together to address issues related to trauma, mood (anxiety, depression, anger), LGBTQ+ identity, and/or life transitions we will work to create ways of thinking and acting that allow you to be the best version of you that you can be. Whether the issues to be addressed in therapy are relatively new or they have been with you since childhood, I can help you create the satisfying life you deserve. From our first interaction, you can expect me to be compassionate, empowering, open-minded, and empathetic. I will help you understand the ways in which your thought processes and behaviors interfere with your life and challenge you to incorporate healthier ways to cope. Together, we will create a space where you feel safe enough to be your authentic self. Please visit my website to understand more about how I would approach our work together or to read my blogs about topics commonly addressed in therapy. I would love to speak with you to determine if I am the right person to help you to address whatever interferes with your wellbeing. You are so deserving of a contented life – let me help you get there.
I specialize in promoting emotional and relational wellness by addressing concerns about depression, anxiety, and other issues resulting from trauma. I am a naturally intuitive and empathetic person, so part of who I am as a therapist is genuinely enjoying listening to people talk about their lives. My primary goal is to create a safe space for you to explore your feelings - snarkiness, self-deprecating humor, cursing, etc. is all welcome and accepted. Over time, I will help you make sense of your experiences and start to see and understand yourself from a more compassionate perspective. I'm also a neuroscience nerd, so another part of who I am as a therapist is helping you understand how your brain works and the how and why of what we’re doing in therapy. We'll talk about subpersonalities, neuroplasticity, memory networks, and more...but don't worry: I have an extensive library of articles, videos, and memes to help explain things. The most important part of who I am as a therapist is believing that therapy isn't just where you learn how to “deal with” mental health problems, but that for those who are ready, therapy can provide real healing. Using IFS-Informed EMDR, I help clients “reconsolidate” trauma memories, allowing you to experience transformational and lasting change.

I am a Physician Assistant experienced in working in child, adolescent, and adult psychiatry. I diagnose and help patients to manage conditions including but not limited to: anxiety, depression, ADD/ADHD, sleep issues, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia and much more. Through medication management, I aspire to help my patients manage their conditions as best as possible by using the least amount of medication in order to manage their symptoms. I also am familiar with over-the-counter / naturopathic approaches to mental health and how using these vitamins as adjuncts to medication can often work synergistically with psychiatric meds. I know that medications aren’t always the only method to improve your mental health, so oftentimes I refer my patients to counseling and therapy too. Originally from the state of FL, I graduated from then University of FL with my bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary studies before earning my PA degree from the University of South Alabama in 2020. I was recently awarded a Certificate of Added Qualifications in Psychiatry by the NCCPA.
As human beings, we often find ourselves wanting more freedom, or perhaps wanting more purpose in our lives, or craving a sense of inner peace. Other times, we find ourselves caught up in difficult and challenging relationships in our personal lives or at work. Whether your life feels overwhelming or underwhelming, I believe that care and courage, along with some healthy curiosity can go a long way in helping you locate new possibilities and finding solutions that work for you. My process is not a one-size-fits-all affair. Indeed, the work we do together is unique to each and every individual I encounter and always begins with accepting you just as you are. Beginning the self-exploration of therapy is an act of courage. I respect your bravery by always providing a calm, warm, and nonjudgmental space to discuss and process your concerns. Together, we’ll collaborate in clarifying your goals, identifying effective strategies, and finding a path that will work for you.

"My goal as your therapist is to support you in facing, understanding, and coping with the behaviors, thought patterns, and emotional responses that contribute to feeling stuck in life or not becoming what you believe to be the best version of yourself. "
My name is Elizabeth Bryant. As a LGBTQIA+ affirming couples therapist trained in both Gottman and Developmental Model Couples therapy I have come to learn that not every size fits all. Bringing two different people with their own unique backgrounds, life experiences, and values is bound to be tricky. Trying to build a life with someone is wonderful but a challenging adventure to embark on. I work with a variety of couples including but not limited to LGBTQIA+, monogamous, polyamorous, heterosexual, interracial, and neurodivergent. The majority of the couples I work with are looking for a new way forward together but are facing challenges that often feel unresolvable without guidance. It takes courage, vulnerability, patience, open communication and a genuine desire to heal and grow. It is not a journey taken lightly but together we can create a path towards deeper connection and a joy-filled relationship.

Together, we'll slow down, make sense of what's happening, and build practical tools to help you feel more grounded, confident, and connected to yourself. As a first-generation college graduate and LGBTQIA+ affirming therapist, I recognize how identity, culture, and lived experience shape our mental health. I'm committed to creating a space where you feel seen, supported, and empowered to grow. Therapy with me is a space where you can show up as you are, explore what matters most, and cultivate the self-trust to navigate life's challenges. If this resonates with you, I'd love to connect. Let me help you prioritize your peace and pursue pleasure with ease! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, and Board Certified Life Coach, and Clinical Hypnotherapist that specializes in short-term, holistic approaches. I use approaches that are centered in liberation-focused and feminist therapies/theories which recognize there are often major systems at play (racism, anti-blackness, sexism, classism, misogynoir, capitalism to name a few) influencing how we think and feel about ourselves and our lives. Together, you and I will work to rediscover your authentic self and ways of being that are free from these systems or at the least, engaging with them on your terms. At Flourish Therapy Bar, the personal and the professional are deeply intertwined, reflecting a commitment to inclusivity, joy, sustainability, freedom, accessibility, and courage. These values are ideals and active principles that guide every aspect of our practice.
As a psychotherapist, I create a safe space whereby building a relationship, unraveling issues, demystifying oneself, voicing hopes and dreams, and developing wisdom and insight, one can emerge from (and exist in) the forest that is life with a deeper understanding of how to navigate one's mind and the world around us. It is my philosophy that great psychotherapy not only addresses the issues on the table, but also guides one towards greater overall life fulfillment. I have extensive experience is CBT, ACT, psychodynamic and mindfulness approaches working with a variety of populations, mental barriers and social challenges. By developing together the skills of psychological flexibility, I aim to equip you with the skills to successfully endure future hardships on your own in an imperfect world where negative experiences and events are outside of our control. In turn, allowing you to live a life that is gratifying, authentic, rich, purposeful and well-adapted. Aside from my academic training, my psychotherapy approach is also informed by my own queer identity, my multicultural immigrant background, existential worldview, social justice, and the realities of people of working class and low socio-economic experiences. También hablo Español. Please visit francopsychotherapy.com for more information.
