Hi, I’m Katrina Bassett, a therapist dedicated to helping college students navigate the pressures of school life, mental health challenges, and personal growth. Whether you're dealing with stress, anxiety, trauma, or adjusting to major life transitions, I provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can process and heal at your own pace. College can be tough, but you don’t have to go through it alone. I’m here to help you thrive, not just survive, and work together to set the foundation for long-term mental wellness.

My goal is to help you find new ways to relate to the world and to enable you to embrace your experiences more fully and bravely. I hope to do this by creating a safe, open, and collaborative environment where you can experiment with new ways of relating to yourself and others. I bring in skills from therapies, such as ACT and DBT, to help you find your strengths and develop your resources. And I recognize that the most growth occurs in an authentic relationship which balances compassion with challenge and emphasizes social justice and intersectionality. Having recovered from an eating disorder, I approach my work from a Health-at-Every-Size and fat-positive framework. All bodies are good bodies, all foods are good foods, and all emotions are valid. I also have experience working with interpersonal trauma, grief, relationship struggles, disordered eating and body image concerns, and identity development, as well as anxiety, depression, and other mental health concerns.
I work with Men who want to fear less and feel more. Men whose insecurity thrives despite their many successes. Men whose high stress is keeping them out of balance, inside and out. By working through unresolved issues from the past, in the present moment, I help Men embrace and express themselves more fully. If these words are resonate with you, I want you to know that you are not alone. Many Men are finding themselves struggling with these issues and are finding their way through it. Together we can find our way through your unique situation. Together, we can learn to embrace who you are and allow your health to shine through.
Hi! I'm glad you're here. Being a student is not just about learning whatever you're studying; it's also a dynamic time in your life. A time during which you may be learning about yourself and others through new experiences. You may be navigating familiar and unfamiliar challenges, some of which can impact your sense of well-being and your mental health. In my experience, we all need support at times in our lives to overcome obstacles, explore our choices, and to strengthen our relationship with ourselves and others. I am passionate about working with students struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship and family concerns, sexual assault, identity and self-esteem, career and academic struggle, grief and loss, and life transitions. Additionally, I have 5+ years working with students and professionals in the STEM field. Thank you for taking steps to address your mental health by looking into therapy. You deserve to live a life full of vitality.
There’s no guidebook for life. It’s easy to feel like you’re falling short when you’re just trying to get through the day. Maybe you’re feeling exhausted, overwhelmed or unmotivated, but continue pushing yourself because you believe there’s no other option, all the while feeling that you’re never measuring up. It might feel like a foreign concept to slow down and listen to what you truly need in each moment, but with the right support, making this shift is possible, and it might give you the relief you need. I’ll focus on helping you learn to be kind and compassionate toward yourself so that you can start living your life from a place of “already enough,” and begin taking actions that truly support your well-being. Sometimes, learning to accept yourself as you are is the first step toward meaningful change. Together, we can explore what might be getting in the way of becoming the person you want to be. I'm here to help you learn how to embrace the person you already are to create the life you desire. If this feels like the right path for you, I’d love to explore working together.

Feel free to reach out via email or phone, and she will get back to you in no more than 48 business hours.

It's nice to meet you! My name is Erica (she/her), and I am a queer therapist working with students who struggle with disordered eating, relationship wounds, anxiety, and substance use. As a former Buff I am personally aware of what CU campus life is like, particularly the stress and expectations that students can end up experiencing and the toll it takes on one's mental health. Are you searching for relief from constantly critiquing what you eat or what your body looks like? Then this is the space for you. Are you tired of feeling as though you aren't good enough? Or perhaps you've realized that you're coping with stress in ways that make you think "this isn't me...". Then this too, is the space for you. Many of my clients are college students who are seeking to find more internal stability, emotional regulation, and a deeper understanding and acceptance of who they are. Navigating college is difficult enough, and can feel even more overwhelming when you just can't seem to feel like you. Therapy can help you understand yourself better, feel more self-assured, and provide you with the tools to better manage internal and external stress. I offer a free 30 minute consultation so that we can meet and chat a bit more about how you need support. If you think we might be a good fit, I encourage you to reach out! Wishing you the best in wherever your mental health journey takes you.

I specialize in supporting individuals from Asian, Asian American, and multicultural backgrounds who navigate bicultural or multicultural experiences. Additionally, I work with individuals who identify as Highly Sensitive Persons (HSPs) or Empaths and have experienced childhood relational trauma. I offer contemplative somatic psychotherapy and coaching services. Contemplative somatic psychotherapy and coaching are integrative approaches that combine mindfulness, body-based practices, and talk therapy to explore the mind-body connection. This therapeutic method focuses on understanding how emotions and experiences are stored in the body and utilizes techniques to promote healing, self-awareness, and personal growth.
In 2015, I began my own therapy journey, and it truly transformed my life. Understanding myself better and gaining awareness of why I respond the way I do gave me a sense of control and empowerment that I had never experienced before. For the first time, I realized that I could change how I show up in my daily life, how I respond to challenges, and how I engage in relationships. This profound experience inspired me to pursue a master's degree in clinical mental health counseling, so I could help others feel the same sense of empowerment and growth. I prioritize creating a space where my clients feel heard, seen, and validated. When they're ready, I gently challenge them to increase their self-awareness, shift their perspectives, and focus on what they can control. My approach is rooted in compassion and understanding, and I use a combination of person-centered therapy, CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) to help my clients process trauma, manage anxiety, and build healthier thought patterns.
My work centers on helping adults through life transitions, anxiety, grief, and the complex emotions that arise during identity exploration. In Bloom Therapy provides a calm, collaborative environment where clients can slow down, reflect, and reconnect with themselves.

I work best with students who feel overwhelmed by the pressure to keep everything together on their own. Many of my clients are juggling classes, relationships, family expectations, and their own mental health, and they're tired of pretending they're fine. I especially connect with students navigating anxiety, burnout, perfectionism, or big transitions like starting college, switching majors, or returning to school after time away. Clients often come in feeling stuck, stressed, or unsure of what they want, but they're also thoughtful, motivated, and ready for a space where they don't have to perform. If you're someone who wants support untangling what's working, what's not, and how to move toward a life that feels more balanced, grounded, and genuinely yours, we'll be a great fit.
Are you feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or uncertain about the path ahead? You're not alone. I'm Sara, and I'm here to support you on your journey towards healing, growth, and empowerment. My approach is rooted in compassion, collaboration, and a deep respect for your unique journey.
Welcome and thank you for taking this first step toward becoming the best version of you! As a student, you already have some much to deal with without the added stress of anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, substance use issues, trauma/PTSD, grief and loss or whatever it is that you are currently dealing with. I am here to help carry some of that burden while we work toward the life you want, together. As a therapist, I value open, collaborative communication. You know yourself best and I am here to take your lead and support you in whatever capacity you need. I have experience and passion working with all the challenges listed previously.
